Dukungan Sosial Menurunkan Kecemasan Pada Penyintas COVID-19 di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Matani, Kota Tomohon

Abstract


Pandemi COVID-19 yang telah berlangsung hampir tiga tahun sejak 2019 masih dan akan terus menjadi masalah kesehatan dunia. Salah satu dampak yang ditimbulkan oleh kondisi ini khususnya pada penyintas COVID-19 adalah kecemasan. Dukungan sosial merupakan faktor yang dapat menurunkan kecemasan pada penyintas Covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan kecemasan penyintas Covid-19 di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Matani. Kota Tomohon. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatifdengan desain korelasional cross-sectionaldan pengambilan data (n=110) dengan teknik Cluster Sampling.Variabel independent adalah dukungan sosial dan variabel dependent adalah kecemasan.Kuesioner yang digunakan adalah Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support dan Zung Self-Rating Anxiety. Hasil penelitian menunjukan hubungan yang signifikan dengan arah negatif antara dukungan sosial dengan kecemasan (r = -0.720,  p value = 0.001). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi dukungan sosial yang diberikan maka semakin rendah tingkat kecemasan yang dialami oleh penyintas Covid-19.  Oleh karena itu, peran keluarga, masyarakat, dan pemerintah menjadi penting untuk memastikan para penyintas COVID-19 mendapat dukungan sosial, terutama dalam waktu 6 bulan pemulihan dari COVID-19.
