Efektifitas Konseling Antenatal Terpadu Terhadap Pengetahuan Ibu Hamil di Puskesmas Pabuaran Tumpeng, Tangerang

Abstract

Pregnancy is a normal reproductive process that requires special self-care so that the mother and fetus are in good health. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of integrated antenatal counseling on knowledge about pregnant women's visits at the Pabuaran Tumpeng Public Health Center. The design of this research was one group pretest-posttest. The subjects were 40 pregnant women who were selected by accidental sampling technique. Data about knowledge were collected through filling out questionnaires, then data analysis was carried out using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the mother's knowledge in the pretest phase was mostly in the sufficient category (62.5%); while in the posttest phase it increased to good category (75%). The results of the statistical test showed the value of p = 0.000 (there was a significant difference). Furthermore, it was concluded that integrated antenatal counseling was effective in increasing mother's knowledge about pregnant women's visits.

ABSTRAK

Kehamilan merupakan proses reproduksi yang normal yang memerlukan perawatan diri secara khusus agar ibu dan janin dalam keadaan sehat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas konseling antenatal terpadu terhadap pengetahuan tentang kunjungan ibu hamil di Puskesmas Pabuaran Tumpeng. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah one group pretest-posttest. Subyek adalah 40 ibu hamil yang dipilih dengan teknik accidental sampling. Data tentang pengetahuan dikumpulkan melalui pengisian kuesioner, lalu dilakukan analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan ibu pada fase pretest sebagian besar berada dalam kategori cukup (62,5%); sedangkan pada fase posttest mengalami peningkatan menjadi kategori baik (75%). Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan nilai p = 0,000 (ada perbedaan secara signifikan). Selanjutnya disimpulkan bahwa konseling antenatal terpadu efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu tentang kunjungan ibu hamil.
