Faktor Perilaku Keselamatan Berkendara (Safety Riding) pada Pengemudi Ojek Online di Komunitas Baung Sepat 77

Abstract


Safety riding is a behavior in which a person can drive his vehicle safely in an effort to minimize the risk of traffic accidents. There are many factors that can influence safety riding behavior, both individual, vehicle and environmental factors. This study aims to determine the relationship between age, knowledge, attitudes, perceptions, work duration, and the role of colleagues with online motorcycle taxi drivers' safety riding behavior in the Baung Sepat 77 Community. This study used a cross-sectional design. The study population was online motorcycle taxi drivers in the Baung Sepat 77 Community, with a sample size of 55 people taken using the total population sampling technique. Data for all variables were collected by filling out questionnaires, then analyzed using the Chi-square test. The results of the analysis showed that the p-value for the correlation test of each factor with safety riding behavior was: knowledge = 0.033, attitude = 0.004, perception = 0.039, role of co-worker = 0.020, age = 0.460 and duration of work = 1.000. It was concluded that the factors associated with online motorcycle taxi drivers' safety riding in the Baung Sepat 77 Community were knowledge, attitudes, perceptions and the role of colleagues.

ABSTRAK

 

Safety riding adalah suatu perilaku yang mana seseorang dapat mengemudikan kendaraannya dengan selamat dalam upaya meminimalisir terjadinya risiko kecelakaan lalu lintas. Terdapat banyak faktor yang dapat memengaruhi perilaku safety riding, baik faktor individu, kendaraan, dan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara faktor usia, pengetahuan, sikap, persepsi, durasi kerja, dan peran rekan kerja dengan perilaku safety riding pengemudi ojek online di Komunitas Baung Sepat 77. Penelitian menggunakan desain cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian ialah pengemudi ojek online di Komunitas Baung Sepat 77, dengan ukuran sampel 55 orang yang diambil dengan teknik total population sampling. Data untuk seluruh variabel dikumpulkan melalui pengisian kuesioner, lalu dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-square. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai p bagi uji korelasi masing-masing faktor dengan perilaku safety riding adalah: pengetahuan = 0,033, sikap = 0,004, persepsi = 0,039, peran rekan kerja = 0,020, usia = 0,460 dan durasi kerja = 1,000. Disimpulkan bahwa faktor yang terkait dengan safety riding pengemudi ojek online di Komunitas Baung Sepat 77 adalah pengetahuan, sikap, persepsi dan peran rekan kerja.
