Pengetahuan dan Kepatuhan Minum Obat Pasien Hipertensi

Abstract

Hypertension patients' knowledge about the disease they suffer from can influence patient adherence with treatment, especially in terms of taking medication. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and medication adherence in hypertensive patients. This study was a systematic literature review using the “Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyzes” protocol. The databases used in this study were Google Scholar, ProQuest and PubMed, limited to publications from the last 5 years, namely 2019 to 2023. The keywords used were "hypertension" AND "adherence" AND "knowledge". After screening and evaluating eligibility, 10 articles were selected for synthesis. The results of the study showed that the literature proved the significance of the correlation between knowledge and medication-taking behavior. Thus, it was concluded that hypertension patients' medication adherence was related to their level of knowledge.

ABSTRAK

Pengetahuan pasien hipertensi tentang penyakit yang dideritanya dapat berpengaruh pada kepatuhan pasien dalam pengobatan, terutama dalam hal minum obat. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan kepatuhan minum obat pasien hipertensi. Studi ini merupakan tinjauan literatur sistematis dengan menggunakan protokol “Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyzes”. Database yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah Google Scholar, ProQuest dan PubMed, terbatas untuk publikasi 5 tahun terakhir yaitu tahun 2019 sampai 2023. Kata kunci yang digunakan adalah “hipertensi” AND “kepatuhan” AND “pengetahuan”. Setelah penyaringan dan evaluasi kelayakan, didapatkan 10 artikel terpilih untuk disintesis. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa literatur-literatur tersebut membuktikan signifikansi korelasi antara pengetahuan dan perilaku minum obat. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa kepatuhan minum obat pasien hipertensi berhubungan dengan tingkat pengetahuan mereka.
