Peran Kader Posyandu dengan Penerapan Stiker Program Perencanaan Persalinan dan Pencegahan Komplikasi (P4K)

Abstract

The Indonesian government is trying to reduce maternal and newborn deaths, one of which is through the Childbirth Planning and Complication Prevention Program with stickers. However, in practice, filling in and pasting stickers has not been carried out properly. The aim of this research was to analyze the role of posyandu cadres in implementing a birth planning program in the use of complication prevention stickers. This research applied a cross-sectional approach, involving 50 posyandu cadres in East Penfui Village in December 2022, who were all members of the population. The independent variable was the role of posyandu cadres, while the dependent variable was the application of the Childbirth Planning and Complication Prevention Program stickers. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and continued with the Chi-square test. The research results showed that the role of posyandu cadres was generally positive (88.0%), and the majority of posyandu cadres did not use stickers (62.0%). The p value of hypothesis testing was 0.041. It was concluded that there was a correlation between the role of posyandu cadres and the use of stickers in the Childbirth Planning and Complication Prevention program in East Penfui Village, Kupang.

ABSTRAK

Pemerintah Indonesia berupaya menurunkan kematian ibu dan bayi baru lahir, salah satunya melalui Program Perencanaan Persalinan dan Pencegahan Komplikasi dengan stiker. Namun pada pelaksanaannya, pengisian dan penempelan stiker belum dilaksanakan dengan baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran kader posyandu dengan penerapan program perencanaan persalinan dalam penggunaan stiker pencegahan komplikasi. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan cross-sectional, yang melibatkan 50 kader posyandu di Desa Penfui Timur pada bulan Desember tahun 2022 yang merupakan seluruh anggota populasi. Variabel independen yaitu peran kader posyandu, sedangkan variabel dependen yaitu penerapan stiker Program Perencanaan Persalinan dan Pencegahan Komplikasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran kader posyandu pada umumnya adalah positif (88,0%), dan sebagian besar kader posyandu belum menggunakan stiker (62,0%). Nilai p dari pengujian hipotesis adalah 0,041. Disimpulkan bahwa ada korelasi antara peran kader posyandu dengan penggunaan stiker dalam program Perencanaan Persalinan dan Pencegahan Komplikasi di Desa Penfui Timur, Kupang.
