Motivasi dan Perubahan Lingkungan Kerja untuk Meningkatkan Kinerja Perawat di Rumah Sakit

Abstract


Motivation is defined as something that inspires or motivates people to work hard, with good motivation and a good, clean, and comfortable work environment, nurses' performance will always be maximized. Nurse performance is one of the important parameters in efforts to improve health services. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of motivation and work environment on nurse performance at Dr. JP. Wanane Hospital, Sorong Regency. The type of research used is quantitative using the Quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest design. The study was conducted at Dr. JP. Wanane Hospital, Sorong Regency in July 2024. The population of this study was 208 nurses. The research sample was 137 people. The sampling technique was accidental sampling using a questionnaire with data analysis using the Chi-square statistical test. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of motivation on nurse performance at Dr. JP. Wanane Hospital, Sorong Regency with a p-value = 0.000. There is an effect of the work environment on nurse performance at Dr. JP. Wanane Hospital, Sorong Regency with a p-value = 0.001. There is an Influence of Motivation and Improvement of the Work Environment on the performance of nurses at Dr. JP. Wanane Regional Hospital, Sorong Regency with a p-value = 0.000. This study concludes that there is an influence of motivation, work environment, motivation, and work environment improvement on the performance of nurses at Dr. JP. Wanane Regional Hospital, Sorong Regency. It is recommended that the Regional Hospital increase the motivation of nurses by giving appreciation to nurses whose work ethic is excellent and providing recommendations to continue their studies, the form of appreciation is in the form of salary increases and bonuses to nurses so that the enthusiasm of nurses continues to be motivated to do a job and also maintain a good physical work environment. So that the performance produced by nurses will always be maximized.
