Pengaruh Pengembangan Penilaian Kinerja Perawat Rawat Inap oleh Kepala Ruang Terhadap Pencapaian Standar Kinerja Perawat di Rumah Sakit Sumber Waras

Abstract


Understanding how the performance appraisal is carried out by the head of the room towards nurses in the inpatient room is an important aspect for evaluating the performance of nurses on the nursing care provided to patients. This study aims to analyze the influence of developing inpatient performance appraisals by the head of the room on the achievement of performance standards for nurses at Sumber Waras Hospital, Jakarta. The achievement of inpatient nurse performance standards is compared between the standard assessment method (pre test) and the assessment developed (post-test). This was a quantitative research design with a quasy experiment, one group pre-post test. Data analysis used paired sample t-test and logistic regression. A total of 18 ward heads as the assessment team and 52 inpatient nurses participated in this study. The results showed that there was a difference in understanding of how the head of the room worked before and after the study, from 46.1% to 73.8%. There was a significant influence between the training in the performance appraisal method developed on the understanding of the head of the room from 46.1% to 73.8% (p = 0.000). Based on the characteristics of nurses, there was a significant relationship between inpatient nurse education and the achievement of performance standards using standardized assessments (p = 0.030). The achievement of inpatient performance standards by means of a developed assessment mostly showed the quality and quantity in the good or good category; and behavior is mostly in the once or good category. The results of the analysis also showed that there was a significant influence on the development of inpatient nurse performance appraisals by the head of the room on the achievement of performance standards for nurses at Sumber Waras Hospital (p = 0.000). From the results of this study it can be concluded that the development of performance appraisal of inpatient nurses by the head of the room affects the improvement in the achievement of performance standards. The method of performance appraisal that has been developed can be considered implemented to achieve the accreditation of Sumber Waras Hospital.

ABSTRAK

Pemahaman cara penilaian kinerja yang dilakukan oleh kepala ruang terhadap perawat di ruang rawat inap adalah aspek penting untuk mengevaluasi kinerja perawat terhadap asuhan keperawatan yang diberikan kepada pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengembangan penilaian kinerja perawat rawat inap oleh kepala ruang terhadap pencapaian standar kinerja perawat di Rumah Sakit Sumber Waras, Jakarta. Pencapaian standar kinerja perawat rawat inap dibandingkan antara cara penilaian baku (pre test) dan penilaian yang dikembangkan (post-test). Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain quasy experiment one group pre-post test. Analisis data menggunakan uji paired sampel t-test dan regresi logistik. Sebanyak 18 kepala ruang sebagai tim penilai dan 52 perawat rawat inap berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan pemahaman cara penilaian kerja kepala ruang sebelum dan sesudah penelitian yaitu dari 46,1% menjadi 73,8%. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pelatihan cara penilaian kinerja yang dikembangkan terhadap pemahaman kepala ruang dari 46,1% menjadi 73,8% (p= 0,000). Berdasarkan karakteristik perawat, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pendidikan perawat rawat inap terhadap pencapaian standar kinerja dengan menggunakan penilaian baku (p= 0,030). Pencapaian standar kinerja perawat rawat inap dengan cara penilaian yang dikembangkan sebagian besar menunjukkan kualitas dan kuantitas dalam kategori baik sekali atau baik; dan perilaku sebagian besar dalam kategori baik sekali atau baik. Hasil analisis juga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pengembangan penilaian kinerja perawat rawat inap oleh kepala ruang terhadap pencapaian standar kinerja perawat di Rumah Sakit Sumber Waras (p= 0,000). Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan penilaian kinerja perawat rawat inap oleh kepala ruang mempengaruhi terhadap perbaikan pencapaian standar kinerja. Cara penilaian kinerja yang dikembangkan dapat dipertimbangkan diimplementasikan untuk pencapaian akreditasi RS Sumber Waras.
