Pengaruh Kemampuan Kerja dan Motivasi Kerja Perawat Terhadap Pelayanan Pasien di Centro De Saude De Lospalos Kabupaten Lautem, Timor-Leste

Abstract


Nurses are less agile in serving patients because of low work motivation and lack of ability to perform tasks. Nurses complain about the well-being of nurses, lack of security, self-development, cooperation, facilities at work. Nurses who have professional, loyal, highly dedicated and well-guaranteed human resources will provide the best service quickly, efficiently and efficiently. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of nurses' work ability and motivation on patient care at the Lospalos health center. This research was conducted at the the Lospalos health center, Central Lospalos street, from 20 June to 1 August 2019. This research used quantitative methods with a descriptive analysis approach. The data analysis technique was multiple regression using the SPSS 16.0 program, where the sample in this study was 184 nurses as respondents. Sampling was using the census method. Data were collected through a questionnaire. The results showed that the simultaneous magnitude of the influence between the ability of nurses (X1) and work motivation (X2) on patient care (Y) was 0.860 or 0.860 which was classified as very strong. While the simultaneous contribution of variables X1 and X2 to (Y) = R2 x 100% or 0.860 x 100% = 73.9% and the remaining 26.1% is determined by other variables. Based on the research results above, it is suggested as follows: 1). Nurses continually improve their abilities by following: upgrading, courses, nursing seminars or continuing higher education so that nurses can increase their knowledge and skills. 2). Nurses provide services with a friendly and polite attitude. 3). Leaders should choose nurses who are relevant to their expertise and professionals in their fields to be placed in the right position and which are really needed for ease, speed, and accuracy in implementing health services.

ABSTRAK

Perawat yang memiliki sumber daya manusia yang profesional, loyal, berdedikasi tinggi dan kesejahteraan terjamin akan memberikan pelayanan terbaik dengan cepat, efikas, dan efisien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh kemampuan kerja perawat dan motivasi pada layanan pasien di Centro de Saude Lospalos. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Centro de Saude de Lospalos, JI. Central Lospalos pada tanggal 20 juni sampai 1 Agustus 2019. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan kuantitatif dengan program SPSS 17, dimana sampel yang digunakan adalah perawat di Centro de Saude Lospalos dengan responden sebanyak 184 orang. Untuk pengambilan sampel mengunakan dan menggunakan metode sensus. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa besarnya pengaruh secara simultan antara kemampuan perawat (X1) dan motivasi kerja (X2) terhadap pelayanan pasien (Y) sebesar 0,860 atau 0,8602 tergolong sangat kuat. Sedangkan kontribusi secara bersama-sama (simultan) variabel X1 dan X2 terhadap (Y) = R2 x 100 % atau 0,8602 x 100% = 73,9% dan sisanya 26,1% ditentukan oleh variabel lain. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas, maka disarankan sebagai berikut: 1). Perawat senantiasa meningakatkan kemampuannya dengan cara, mengikuti: penataran, kursus-kursus, seminar-seminar keperawatan atau melanjutkan pendidikan yang lebih tinggi baik formal maupun informal, sehingga perawat dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan. 2). Perawat memberikan pelayanan dengan sikap yang ramah dan santun. 3). Pimpinan hendaknya memilih perawat yang relevan dengan keahliannya dan profesional dalam bidangnya untuk ditempatkan pada posisi yang tepat serta yang sangat dibutuhkan bagi kemudahan, kecepatan, dan ketepatan dalam pelaksanaan pelayanan kesehatan.
