Pelatihan Keterampilan Ibu untuk Deteksi Perkembangan Anak Prasekolah Menggunakan Kuesioner Pra Skrining Perkembangan

Abstract


Monitoring the development of pre-school children during the Covid-19 pandemic cannot take place optimally, so parents can be trained to do this. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of the “Bulan Si Kembang” (Smart Mothers in Development Detection) training to improve mothers' skills in early detection of child development using KPSP (Child Development Pre Screening Questionnaire). The research design was one group pre-test and post-test. The samples were 42 guardians of pre-school children, who were selected by simple random sampling technique. The independent variable was the "Bulan Si Kembang" training, while the dependent variable is the mother's skill in detecting child development. Data collection was carried out using KPSP. Then an analysis of the differences in the skills of the mothers between before and after the training was carried out, using a paired sample t-test, because they were normally distributed. The results showed that the average skill before training = 66.07, while after training = 81.14. The p value of the t test results = 0.000, so it was interpreted that there is a significant difference in the skills of the mothers before and after the training. It was further concluded that the "Month of the Flower" training was effective in increasing mothers' skills in detecting child development

ABSTRAK

 

Pemantauan perkembangan anak pra sekolah selama masa pandemi Covid-19 tidak dapat berlangsung dengan optimal, maka orang tua dapat dilatih untuk melakukannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis efektivitas pelatihan “Bulan Si Kembang” (Ibu Lancar Deteksi Perkembangan) untuk meningkatkan keterampilan ibu dalam deteksi dini perkembangan anak menggunakan KPSP (Kuesioner Pra Skrining Perkembangan Anak). Rancangan penelitian ini adalah one group pre-test and post-test. Sampel adalah 42 ibu wali murid anak pra sekolah, yang dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Variabel bebas adalah pelatihan “Bulan Si Kembang”, sedangkan variabel terikat adalah keterampilan ibu dalam melakukan deteksi perkembangan anak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan KPSP. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis perbedaan keterampilan ibu antara sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan, menggunakan paired sample t-test, karena berdistribusi normal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rerata keterampilan sebelum pelatihan = 66,07, sedangkan sesudah pelatihan = 81,14. Nilai p dari hasil uji t = 0,000, sehingga diinterpretasikan bahwa ada perbedaan keterampilan ibu secara signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan. Selanjutnya disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan “Bulan Si Kembang” efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan ibu dalam deteksi perkembangan anak
