Efek Latihan Teknik Jump to Box pada Dosis Berbeda Terhadap Kemampuan Meloncat Anak Remaja

Abstract


All human physical activity requires a jumping motion. The maximum jumping movement is determined by the strength of the abdominal and leg muscles. This study aims to find out more deeply about the effect of load and exercise time on increasing muscle explosive power of junior high school students. The design of this research is pretest-posttest with control group. The subjects involved were 30 students, who were divided into three treatment groups, namely the group that was given 12 cm with 3 minutes of exercise, the group that was given 24 cm with 3 minutes of exercise, and the group that was given 24 cm with 5 minutes of exercise, with treatment three times a week for eight weeks. The results of the paired sample t-test showed that in the jump to box exercise with a load dose of 24 cm with a duration of 3 minutes of exercise and a load of 24 cm with a duration of 5 minutes of exercise, there was a difference in muscle explosive power between before and after the intervention, with a p value of each. are 0.000 and 0.001. Thus, it was concluded that increasing the jump to box training dose was effective in increasing muscle explosive power (jumping ability).

ABSTRAK

 

Seluruh aktifitas fisik manusia membutuhkan gerakan melompat. Gerakan melompat yang maksimal sangat ditentukan oleh kekuatan otot perut dan tungkai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui lebih mendalam tentang pengaruh beban dan lama waktu latihan terhadap peningkatan daya ledak otot siswa sekolah menengah pertama. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah pretest-posttest with control group. Subyek yang terlibat adalah 30 siswa, yang dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok perlakuan, yaitu kelompok yang diberi latihan beban 12 cm dengan lama latihan 3 menit, kelompok yang diberi latihan beban 24 cm dengan lama latihan 3 menit, serta kelompok yang diberi latihan 24 cm dengan lama latihan 5 menit dengan perlakuan tiga kali seminggu selama delapan minggu. Hasil paired sample t-test menunjukkan bahwa pada latihan jump to box dengan dosis beban 24 cm dengan lama latihan 3 menit dan beban 24 cm dengan lama latihan 5 menit, ada perbedaan daya ledak otot antara sebelum dan sesudah intervensi, dengan nilai p masing-masing adalah 0,000 dan 0,001. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa peingkatan dosis latihan jump to box efektif untuk meningkatkan daya ledak otot (kemampuan melompat).
