Perbandingan Hasil Pemeriksaan Kadar Hemoglobin dengan Metode Sahli dan Metode Digital

Abstract

Various methods of checking hemoglobin have been used by health facilities in Indonesia, but not all of these methods are easy and sensitive for diagnosing anemia, or there is no examination method that is 100% accurate. The purpose of this study was to compare the results of examining hemoglobin levels using the Sahli method and the digital method (Easy Touch GCHb). This research was a comparative study involving 42 respondents as a sample, which was selected by total population sampling technique. Data on hemoglobin levels obtained by the two measurement methods as mentioned above, then compared with the t test. The results of the analysis showed that the average hemoglobin level as measured by the Sahli method was 10.4619; while the results of examination with the digital method was 13.7976. The p-value of the t test results was 0.000 (<0.05). Furthermore, it was concluded that there were differences in the value of hemoglobin levels between the Sahli method and the digital method.

ABSTRAK

Berbagai metode pemeriksaan hemoglobin telah digunakan oleh fasilitas kesehatan di Indonesia, namun tidak semua metode tersebut mudah dan sensitif untuk mendiagnosis anemia, atau belum ada metode pemeriksaan yang 100% akurat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil pemeriksaan kadar hemoglobin dengan menggunakan metode Sahli dan metode digital (Easy Touch GCHb). Penelitian ini merupakan studi komparatif yang melibatkan 42 responden sebagai sampel, yang dipilih dengan teknik total population sampling. Data tentang kadar hemoglobin yang diperoleh dengan dua cara pengukuran sebagai tersebut di atas, selanjutnya dibandingkan dengan uji t. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rerata kadar hemoglobin yang diukur dengan metode Sahli adalah 10,4619; sedangkan hasil pemeriksaan dengan metode digital adalah 13,7976. Nilai p dari hasil uji t adalah 0,000 (<0,05). Selanjutnya disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan nilai kadar hemoglobin antara metode Sahli dan metode digital.
