Motivasi dan Perubahan Lingkungan Kerja untuk Meningkatkan Kinerja Perawat di Rumah Sakit
Abstract
Motivation and a good, clean and comfortable work environment will support nurses' performance to always be optimal. Nurse performance is one of the important parameters in efforts to improve health services. This study aimed to determine the effect of motivation and work environment on improving nurse performance in hospitals. This type of research was a quasi-experimental with a one group pretest and posttest design. This study involved 137 nurses in hospitals selected using accidental sampling techniques. Performance was measured by filling out questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed using paired samples t-test. The results of this study indicated that the p value for the test of differences in performance between before and after providing motivation and improving the work environment was 0.000, so it was interpreted that there was a significant difference in nurse performance. Furthermore, it was concluded that providing motivation and improving the work environment has succeeded in improving nurse performance in hospitals.

ABSTRAK
Motivasi serta lingkungan kerja yang baik, bersih dan nyaman akan mendukung kinerja perawat untuk selalu maksimal. Kinerja perawat adalah salah satu parameter penting dalam upaya meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi dan lingkungan kerja terhadap peningkatan kinerja perawat di rumah sakit. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimental kuasi dengan rancangan one group pretest and postest. Penelitian ini melibatkan 137 perawat di rumah sakit yang dipilih dengan teknik accidental sampling. Kinerja diukur melalui pengisian kuesioner. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis dengan paired samples t-test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa nilai p untuk uji perbedaan kinerja antara sebelum dan sesudah pemberian motivasi dan perbaikan lingkungan kerja adalah 0,000, sehingga diinterpretasikan bahwa ada perbedaan kinerja perawat secara signifikan. Selanjutnya disimpulkan bahwa pemberian motivasi dan perbaikan lingkungan kerja berhasil meningkatkan kinerja perawat di rumah sakit.
