Program Perencanaan Persalinan dan Pencegahan Komplikasi untuk Mendukung Kesiapan Ibu Hamil dalam Menghadapi Persalinan yang Aman

Abstract

The Childbirth Planning and Complication Prevention Program is a government program that has been created and implemented by the Palangkaraya City Health Office to prevent MMR and IMR. However, this program also has an impact on the readiness of pregnant women who are pregnant for the first time, so their readiness needs to be considered. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the Childbirth Planning and Complication Prevention Program on the readiness of primigravida pregnant women in the work area of the Palangkaraya City Health Service. The design of this study was cross-sectional. The subjects of this study were 121 pregnant women who were taken using the simple random sampling technique. The independent variables in the study were birth companions, birth attendants, place of delivery, transportation and prospective blood donors; while the dependent variable was the readiness of primigravida pregnant women. Data were collected using a questionnaire sheet and analyzed using a regression test. Based on the results of the analysis, most pregnant women chose their husbands as their birth companions with a ready category of 64.5%. Pregnant women who chose midwives as their birth assistants with a ready category of 55.4%. The results of the regression test showed that the p-value for each factor of the Birth Planning and Complication Prevention Program was birth companion = 0.002, birth attendant = 0.002, birth place = 0.002, transportation = 0.002 and prospective blood donor = 0.004. Furthermore, it was concluded that the Birth Planning and Complication Prevention Program has a significant effect on the readiness of primigravida pregnant women in facing safe childbirth.

ABSTRAK

Program Perencanaan Persalinan dan Pencegahan Komplikasi merupakan program pemerintah yang telah dibuat dan dilaksanakan oleh Dinas Kesehatan Kota Palangkaraya untuk mencegah AKI dan AKB. Namun, Program ini juga berdampak pada kesiapan ibu hamil yang baru pertama kali hamil, sehingga kesiapan pada dirinya perlu diperhatikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh Program Perencanaan Persalinan dan Pencegahan Komplikasi terhadap kesiapan ibu hamil primigravida di wilayah kerja Dinas Kesehatan Kota Palangkaraya. Desain penelitian ini adalah cross-sectional. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 121 ibu hamil yang diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling. Variabel independen dalam penelitian yaitu pendamping persalinan, penolong persalinan, tempat bersalin, transportasi dan calon pendonor darah; sedangkan variabel dependen yaitu kesiapan ibu hamil primigravida. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar kuesioner dan dianalisa dengan uji regresi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, sebagian besar ibu hamil memilih suami sebagai pendamping persalinan dengan ketegori siap sebanyak 64,5%. Ibu hamil yang memilih bidan sebagai penolong persalinan dengan kategori siap sebanyak 55,4%. Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan nilai p untuk masing-masing faktor dari Program Perencanaan Persalinan dan Pencegahan Komplikasi adalah pendamping persalinan = 0,002, penolong persalinan = 0,002, tempat bersalin = 0,002, transportasi = 0,002 dan calon donor darah = 0,004. Selanjutnya disimpulkan bahwa Program Perencanaan Persalinan dan Pencegahan Komplikasi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kesiapan ibu hamil primigravida dalam menghadapi persalinan yang aman.
